TIGER'S EYE

The small cabin is no longer empty; instead, it's full of simple wooden chairs and a few tables. One table is stacked with baskets of ripe fruit; as for the others...

On one, scrolls bearing messages appear out of nowhere. On the other rests a single scroll and a quill pen to write on it. The top of the scroll reads, "Tell me what you believe in." The rest is empty space, waiting to be written on.

Because there's one sheet? I mean, I suppose we don't have to all share things, but we probably shouldn't put anything someone vetos.

What does it mean, what you believe in?

Like the things you think are important. Ideals and shi-stuff. "Don't kill people", "always support the team".

So just put down basic stuff?

What's basic to us might be complicated to Persona or vice versa. Or even another team. Like... we have a rule that any self-sacrificing things in games must be decided by unanimous vote. If anyone's uncomfortable with it, we don't play that way.

And it looks like Lark sent a letter

[reads it aloud]

Looks like Josh sent one too.

. . you can put what you want, I don't care.

Characters who have reached their happy endings or who are Legacy-questing elsewhere can send a single message to the current team saying what they think the team should believe in.

[a note from Lark turns up fairly quickly:

Pie; talking about problems instead of hiding them; compromise; being able to move forward and take help if you need it; offering that help to others if you can.

[it takes a little while but Josh eventually also sends a note:

I don't know if I can tell you guys what to believe in; stuff must be pretty different by now. But I think it's always good to believe in yourselves -- in understanding each other, in seeing where you're all strong and valuing that, in your power to reach for the future you all want to see. Tiger's Eye is like a family to me, so I believe in that if I believe in anything.

King would probably say the power of love or something, and that probably works too. It's pretty close when you think about it.

We believe in Tiger's Eye as a team. That means deciding on important things as a group, being upfront about things that bother us, playing in games the way we can all live with afterward. All of us are useful and valuable, even if we're all different.
