The small cabin is no longer empty; instead, it's full of simple wooden chairs and a few tables. One table is stacked with baskets of ripe fruit; as for the others...

On one, scrolls bearing messages appear out of nowhere. On the other rests a single scroll and a quill pen to write on it. The top of the scroll reads, "Tell me what you believe in." The rest is empty space, waiting to be written on.

Considering the topic, I doubt it'll come out as anything else.

I guess for me it's... friendship. You've got good friends behind you, then it feels like anything is possible. So that's what I believe in.

That's an interesting sentiment. Friends from home I assume?

Yeah, one in particular. He's an idiot, but a good guy.

We've known each other since we were kids, and he's in almost every memory I've had so far. He gets on my nerves sometimes, but he's reliable. It's worth something. Anyway, that's enough sentimentality from me. What are your thoughts?

I believe in change.

Change, huh? That's a good one.

Stagnation is the death of all things. I know this from personal experience. So change is what I believe in, even if all change is not good.

Mmm, well, partially. I've been winning back my father's memories of late.

Close enough, then. Must've been a hell of an experience if it left that strong an impression on you.
