And when the woman speaks you know it can be heard by all.

So it begins. For now I ask of you to think about the sort of rulers you wish to be. What are your customs? Your people's trades? Their military? You do not have to name everything, but give me and idea. Name your land and make it your own. We'll go from there.

We'd have to define what a 'bad guy' is before we can work on keeping them out...and we should probably have a plan if the bad guys end up wishing to trade while we have an open trading policy.

Foo Fighter Nation is a nation that values strength and integrity. While open to trade to almost anyone, they deny trading to nations whose rulers are tyrants that mistreat their own people. Foo Fighter Nation has an intelligence network they use to ensure that all other nations are justly ruled.

To hold themselves accountable, any law that the King writes is one that he must follow as well or else he'd suffer the punishment three times over.

The King is also Algae and has his own special Algae vouchers to get whatever goods and entertainment he wants because we said so.

The scenery changes abruptly. The shadows move melting the tables and creeping up each person there. It swallows everything and when it creeps away once more you'll find yourself in the throne room of a castle. You can't seem to explore more than that, but looking out a window might show you the curve of land as it edges towards the sea: an island.

The land around you shows you a normal sight. There's nothing about it that's too out of place. The buildings are small, but well kept. There's not a lot of food, but everyone manages to eat enough. People go back and forth about their day. All in all it's a pretty quiet time.

Unfortunately, Algae is not made the king. But you might find a special Algae crown on the throne and a bag full of toys.

The room is simple but elegant and at the center of the room remains your team colored round table. Atop of it is a scroll and several maps and documents. You can write on these to calculate things, if you need to.

"A country has been shaped," the woman's voice echoes through the chamber, "but as in the beginning of all things it must be challenged. It is the way of life to test those whom have yet been tested. The King and his men expected as much, as should you. But your country is still small and weak in its governs. It is not prepared, so you must ally yourself.

Across the bay are two countries. Both formidable allies and, worse, enemies. The land of Erainne can help you with trade and the kingdom of Corco can help you with arms. You cannot ally yourself with both.

There is also BLANK, who is also a new kingdom, has also offered their resources to you. They do not have much and while they have their specialties they can hardly spare help for those outside of their lands.

Your trial is to find an ally or decide if you are fine on your own."

The Foo Fighter Nation chooses to ally with the nations of BLANK and Erainne, and gives them each a donation of gold as an future investment. 2,000 gold goes to each; as BLANK will need every gold it can get and Erainne can be trusted to make the investment count.

Upon allying yourself with BLANK you find out its name is Alba. It specializes in blacksmithing and carpentry. Despite being a young country its people are well-educated and crafted seeking only to make goods that can help industrialize themselves and others. They help to bring new cooking equipment and printing material to your country.

Erraine helps expand your trade to the fair east bringing more prosperity to your country. Between them and Alba things have remarkably shifted. You supply the money and manual labor, Erraine trades, and Alba creates the merchandise.

This leaves your country at the same state it's been. Happy and well-kept, but not growing further than it's roots. It seems to be fine this way for now.

"The cycle continues and your land grows with you. Your king has passed away and another has come. This King is not as kind as the last one was-- he will not be your friend. He does not think the same of your words as the last one did. But you are the trusted adviser of the court by now, so you stay.

This time the trial is inwards. Your King, despite any attempts at telling him any other way, has taxed the lands and its people greatly. Many can no longer afford to feed their families. This, too, is coupled with the matter of a bad harvest. Most of the food has rooted if it's grown, and if it's not rotten it did not grow at all.

The people have been angered and are calling for an uprising. The King has deemed this not his problem and, so, it's up to you to end things. Be it peacefully or with force something must be done and you have the resources of the kingdom at your disposal."
