You sit on the other side of the stage now, in an auditorium full of cracked and dusty stone chairs. It's cold and uncomfortable, but the stage before you still commands your attention, with the curtains now drawn back and shadows flickering upon it.

You are one half of a story to be played out today: either a hero or a monster. You must invent a backstory, motivation, set of powers, and anything else necessary for your monster or hero to defeat its opponent. Both consistency and creativity will be factored into scoring; for best results, tie their powers into their archetype as well as the backstory and motivation you give them.

"The Princess is blessed in many ways, but also cursed by a Wicked Fairy, who upon the Princess's coming of age is about to spring her attack."

You will be designing The Wicked Fairy. Kunzite will be designing The Princess.

Well if we're gonna design a Wicked Fairy she should be drop-dead gorgeous.

Yeah like really hot. And she cursed the princess to hide her from the kingdom her parents want to marry her into. Cuz like it's all corrupt but nobody will believe her cuz they think magic is evil and crap like that.

...What do you mean it's 'all corrupt'?

Like they're all doin' crap they shouldn't be doing. Stealin' from the poor and throwin' people in prison for no good reason. Maybe workin' to overthrow the princess' kingdom?

...Are they trying to kill the princess's friends?

Sure that too.

Then the Wicked Fairy is going to stop them.

She can't. The best she can do is hide the princess through the curse. But the other kingdom has convinced the queen and king that the fairy plans to attack her.

...Did she hide the princess somewhere safe?

The curse makes the princess into a ghost that only the fairy can see. Until she can stop the other kingdom's king and queen.

...The fairy should be able to punch the king and queen. And she's just keeping the princess safe until she punches the corrupt out of them.

That's an impressive power!

Punching is a good power. More people should learn to punch things.

The Wicked Fairy saw that the Princess was in danger from the corruption of the King and Queen, and so she’s going to hide the Princess by turning her into a ghost so she can be safe, and then go out to fight the King and Queen by punching them.

And also, the Wicked Fairy is very, very hot and Light says that that is important.

The shadows on stage flicker and follow your cue...then fade for the time being.

A pot of tea and some cups appear for you to refresh yourselves with.

The players in this show have been created! Now it's time to plan your attack. You can see what your opponents designed; give an explanation of how your hero or monster attacks it.

The Princess was cursed to become a jellyfish (a ghost jellyfish?) once she came of age. When she learned that she was cursed by the Wicked Fairy, the Princess decided that she wanted to learn more about magic herself. Part of it was because she wanted to be able to protect herself from the Fairy's curse, but part of it was that she wanted to understand the Fairy a little better, as well. So she learned how to control magic with her beautiful voice, and could soon create strong barriers and heal herself and others with her song. She surrounded herself with positive music and energy, and so became resistant to negative energy. As she honed her abilities, the Princess thought about her curse, and realized that even as a jellyfish she would be able to live in a beautiful ocean and see the happy faces of her family. She decided that rather than fighting the Fairy when the time came, she wanted to use her song to bring happiness to the Fairy's heart-- maybe then she wouldn't feel like she had to curse others.

Well obviously the fairy can explain to her what's going on since she's not around her parents anymore and is... a ghost jellyfish. Seriously a jellyfish? What the hell, Kunzite?

What's a jellyfish?

A weird floating thing that looks like it's made of jelly. It can sting you though.

...Can we still punch it?

We probably don't want to punch the princess.

Maybe they can unite powers to sing and punch the other side into submission or somethin'.

I meant punch the jellyfish King and Queen, but we should definitely punch them while singing.

I dunno if the other side are jellyfish or just her. Since she's the only one who's cursed.

Yeah let's go with combined singing and punching.

Oh, I guess we didn't curse them too.

Lets take the Princess out for a picnic afterwards.

Would she still be a ghost jellyfish?

...If she wants to be. We can turn her back if she doesn't.

The Wicked Fairy really liked the singing, so she decided to sing along while punching the corruption out of the King and Queen. Once the corruption was all punched out, the Wicked Fairy asked the ghost jellyfish princess if she wanted the curse removed, and removed it if she wanted.

Then she'll take the Princess out for a picnic to celebrate everyone being safe from corruption again.

The curtains roll away to reveal the Ring once more. You may proceed to endgame.
