Round 2 - Gingerbread House

And when your words have been said, the light turns on and you find yourself inside of a building.

You find yourself in a dark and dusty basement that smells pretty terrible. Inside, you can find an oven roaring a fire. There is a mannequin of a young girl sweeping a floor while a mannequin of a boy is trapped inside of a metal cage. Though the scenery is moving, it's sort of looping over and over kind of like an animated gif.

Oh, we must escape.

Judging by the table with dishes set up, you can sort of guess what's about to happen with that poor kid in the cage.

Or we will be eaten.

A figure whose face you cannot see has entered the room, broom in her hand.

right?

Round Three - The Story Can Change

The older figure approaches the young girl, petting her on the head. "You do know I love you dears, right?"

The girl looks up at her with tears in her eyes, "I know! But it has to be like this. I am determined to make sure it ends the way its suppose to. Right, ▒▓▒▓▒▓▒? And I'll always love him the most so I have to do this and I won't let them stop me!"

The boy nods from the cage. "Yeah, you guys should just fight until there's one left, and I'll be there for whoever is left over!"

"I will not fight you. It will just end the way it is suppose to."

The fire roars. But the scene ends before it can end proper.

That sort of result, obviously, isn't what we were thinking when we mentioned what we thought could help someone change. But that doesn't mean that we were wrong-- you've just applied it incorrectly. Love, and passion, and being there for someone really can all help someone change, but... it has to be your genuine feelings towards them, and they have to have a genuine connection to you to be influenced by those feelings. In addition to that, they have to want to change themselves as well. But in order to change, people have to figure out who it is that they want to be, and how they want to change... They have to-- have role models. People who they want to be like, and people they don't want to be like... people they want to please enough to change themselves.

So-- that's why loving someone and showing them your passion and being there for them can help them change. Through that, maybe they'll come to want to change. And through that, maybe they'll feel like they need to be able to do those things in return. So through watching you, maybe they'll learn how to... love someone, and be there for them... and find passions of their own. If... you're yourself, authentically and genuinely, people can learn from you how to be that way too...

Which means that people truly can change from the influence of someone else, definitely. But it's up to them to finish up the job. If... you want to change, you have to... seek out people that make you want to change. You have to look at people that are kind and brave and loving and decide that you want to be that way. Even if it's painful, because you never thought you could be that way, or you're not ready to say that that's what you want, you have to try. Because someone else can help change you, but... you also have to help them do it. That's-- what we think.
