Most of the changes associated with the Gingerbread Witch myth, in the stories anyway, have to do with ... size.

Feeding them food. This is one way to change someone, because feeding them can make them larger.

The second is to share with them—experiences, thoughts, food, memories, anything really.

And finally, amnesia. That changes someone, right?

Round Two - The Bakery

When your answers are decided, the lights turn on.

it's hot

You catch yourself standing inside of a bakery, surrounded by a roaring fire. While you can feel the heat of the fire around you, you'll find that you are perfectly fine and anything you touch won't feel hot at all. It seems to be more like you're watching an animated gif just constantly looping.

The counters are slowly disintegrating and there are lumps of black inside of baskets and shelves where bread should have been. There was a picture but only an edge of it is left. There is an older woman standing in the middle of the room, staring outside at a window with a forlorn expression.

it's not their fault

If you take a look at the window, you'll notice the faces of two children peeking in though you can't see their expressions at all.

We're satisfied that the mood has lifted, but it's obvious that more sharing is bound to happen in the future. The kids are right there, so the odds of her noticing they're there are high, so she'll go ahead and share with them, won't she? The future is open to it, anyway. Anything can happen, and we don't see a full story yet.
