Teach them something they never knew before. Challenge them so they may grow. And talk openly with them, so both you and they may reach an understanding of how they wish to change.

it's hot

You catch yourself standing inside of a bakery, surrounded by a roaring fire. While you can feel the heat of the fire around you, you'll find that you are perfectly fine and anything you touch won't feel hot at all. It seems to be more like you're watching an animated gif just constantly looping.

The counters are slowly disintegrating and there are lumps of black inside of baskets and shelves where bread should have been. There was a picture but only an edge of it is left. There is an older woman standing in the middle of the room, staring outside at a window with a forlorn expression.

it's not their fault

If you take a look at the window, you'll notice the faces of two children peeking in though you can't see their expressions at all.

The challenge for the woman is to see past what lies before you now. Your life can't end here. So your challenge is to find a way to live and start a new life. We'll help through magic or guiding, but you can't allow it to end here--for anyone. Right now surviving is more important than thinking of whose fault the situation is.

The challenge for the children is to help her out and not leave her to die. Allowing someone to die won't be something you'll ever forget; regardless of your issues with one another, there shouldn't be a reason to take someone else's life or stand by idly. There are other ways to resolve things. If you want to punch her later then that's probably fine to vent.

Round Three - The Story Can Change

I won't let them win.

The children as well look at the woman and you can see a twisted smile gracing both of their faces. Behind them, a dark shadow looms over them, slowly covering them.

I'll live on and certainly they will too. They'll live as long as I do. And then we'll see who will truly be the one standing at the end of this.

And the fire starts to engulf the woman, but not before the shadows starts to bleed in as well. But the scene ends before you can see what happens.

We aren't pleased with these results, but we don't believe you listened to us very clearly either. If you're only going to take half of the advice then it doesn't do much, you know. So these cards should be for you to use as you see fit, in order to start that kind of change yourself. We'll also give you our challenge again. See past what lies before you now. Your life can't end here, and you shouldn't stop or let yourself be dragged down by resentment or anger. Your challenge is to find a way to live and start a new life. We'll help through magic or guiding or however we can, but you can't do it halfheartedly like you did here. You've got to really think it over and try. Don't dwell on the things in the past that you can't change.

Anyone can change if they want to. Even if it takes time. The future isn't set.
