Tables
How To Play
This is a pretty basic, straight forward game.
You will be broken up into four tables with four teams each to play a game of card. Each table has a deck of 21 cards in 3 suits, and each team is dealt 5 cards randomly.
There will be 5 rounds. Each team will play 1 card every round, in play order.
The suits are:
Floss: this card has an image of a skein of thread. Floss is worth no points and beats no other
Shuttles: this card has an image of a shuttle. Shuttles is worth one point and beats floss.
Shears: this card has an image of a pair of scissors. Shears are worth no points and beat both shuttles and floss.
The object of the game is to get THE FEWEST POINTS.
HOWEVER, if one team takes all of the shuttles over 5 rounds, they will receive 0 points, and every other team at their table will receive 7 points.
If two teams play the same card, the LAST team to play will take the pot.
The team who wins the current round will play first in the next round. I will update the play order each round to reflect this.
If you're doing math, you'll notice that there's one extra card in each deck. That card will be added to the first Shuttle that gets taken.
This should be a fast paced game, so try not to get too drawn into arguing in your rooms; I'm aiming for 30 minutes or less for each round.
Have fun!
