You find yourself back on the race track, this time with a variety of materials scattered across several tables. The audience cheering has died down, but you can still hear distant voices, murmuring, waiting.

Your task is to design and build a chariot that best represents your team. You will be given 600 points to spend on materials that you wish to use to construct your chariot, or spells to sabotage other teams. Each material will have certain stat bonuses, based on strength, defense, speed, stamina, and style. How you balance these stats out is entirely up to you.

Once you have completed this task, the race will begin! You will have an opportunity to pit your mount against other teams, and, if you spend points for them, use boosts to your benefit--or sabotage others. Keep in mind that other teams have this option as well, and your team may end up being the target of a sabotage spell. Certain stats may protect you from sabotage spells, but if they’re too low, you might have a problem. Lastly, although a well-balanced chariot may help you in the race, it does not guarantee a win in the game.

Your chariot right now is a plain-looking two wheeler that creaks a bit when you ride it. It’s big enough to fit your entire team, but you’ll be somewhat cramped. Your mount is a single horse, who is somewhat old and lazy. Your wheels are bronze and slightly rusted. The reigns are made of coarse rope. You get the sense that this chariot will certainly do the trick if necessary, buuuuut it won’t be great.

Attack: 1. Defense: 1. Speed: 1. Stamina: 1. Style: 1.

You have 600 points to spend. NOTE: You cannot race with a chariot that has a stat of 0 or less; all stats must have a value of at least 1 to race in the final product.

Is that what chariots need?

It's what everything needs, dear.

But, on a more practical note...we should decide our plan of attack. Do we intend to play defensively, or as aggressors? I suspect I know your answer, Apple.

I don't mind either if it's lighthearted. I personally prefer defense over offense, though.

Then we should ignore the sabotage spells. Hmm...they seem in poor taste, in any case, and are terribly expensive.

I think we can win without them just fine. Shall we change our mount, first? I admit the eagle sounds promising. If we have speed it would be to our advantage.

I quite agree. Wouldn't it be marvelous if Sapphire simply blazed through the track before anyone could think to stop us?

We could give ourselves a lot of speed in that case. The feathery wings and sunglasses give us speed too, yes? That's only 220 points so far though. We could do plenty more. Shields too, maybe? If we're going for defense and speed.

I agree. My, we have quite a bit left...perhaps we should consider four wheels?

Yeah. But if it's like that we should get another eagle, shouldn't we? We don't have enough points for it, I think...unless it's fine.

We could ask the Persona if one eagle will be enough to pull a four-wheel chariot. Do you think he'd respond?

I don't see why he wouldn't. Mr. Right? Is it alright if we have one eagle pulling a four-wheel chariot, or will it be slowed down?

You'll have two eagles pulling it, in that case. I won't make him do all the work by himself.

So that's how it is...that makes it easier.

Mm, so we could get something else small. We could get...brightly-colored feathers for more speed, and gold wheels for stamina and style?

Sure. Though, if we don't need to get the sunglasses twice, we can get an overhead canvas to help with stamina. But I'm fine with either.
