If resurrection is necessary during the course of the game, yes.

[shrugs] It's his game, and he says there'd be resurrections. If it's what it takes to win his challenge, I don't see why not. It's not like death has a lot of meaning here.

I don't want anyone to sacrifice themselves.

[little shrug] I don't see why not to do it, but I won't do it if you want me not to, Breeze.

. . . Well, if you think about it in the game . . . it'd be going against what we said about wanting to protect ourselves to agree to get your head cut off. Even if it's in a few months.

I guess consistency could be important. Do you just not want me to do it?

If there's a catch to it, there are other Personae here. It's really meaningless, dying.

I don't take my own life so lightly. But whatever, go for it, if it will get us a memory. If Breeze let's you, anyway.

It's not that I take my life lightly. If Personae didn't resurrect, I'd never volunteer. And if I could offer someone else, I'd never volunteer. I don't think it'd feel good? But death isn't death if people can just recover from it. So I'm not risking my life.

Death is death. I trust the Personae here about as far as I can throw them. There's already been one that refused to resurrect people after his game, so what's stopping the others from changing their minds at some point?

You're not making a noble sacrifice or winning any points for volunteering. If you get us a memory, good for you. But there are other, less fatal games.
