You're in a small grove of trees off the side of the road. Somehow, their thick leaves muffle all sound from beyond, leaving only faint whispers and echoes at the fringe of your hearing.

As before, the scroll the bird just dropped is covered in letters--seemingly random at first, but with some patterns. Even if you cannot read, you understand that there are words to be found here...

Beneath the jumble of letters is a question: "What is human nature?"

Challenging someone to a battle to see who is stronger, using your deck as your weapon.

A deck of cards...I haven't seen any here though.

I thought it might have been a human thing . . .

[a pause]

I guess there's no reason for it to be exclusively human either...I don't know what human nature would be if it's not cardfights though.

I thought a deck might be a human part I didn't know about. I'm glad it's not. Can aliens cardfight too?

I don't see why not. They just need to be able to hold the cards.
