JASPER

You're in a small grove of trees off the side of the road. Somehow, their thick leaves muffle all sound from beyond, leaving only faint whispers and echoes at the fringe of your hearing.

[Well, I don't know what to tell you, because people sure are selfish.]

Being selfish isn't a bad thing. It's like the first thing everything has as their nature. You want to live, you want to be able to eat, you want to have somewhere safe to stay. Star's super, suuuper selfish, but that doesn't mean she doesn't want people around her to be happy too.

Right, we're strong, we learn that we shouldn't let it control us too much. But we're talking about nature. Remove all the strength, all the weakness, and all the stuff we learned, and focus on what's left. That's what nature is. It doesn't matter how strong or how weak you are, you want to live, right?

[...Well, I'm a weird case, but still.]

Depends on the animal, really. Being selfish comes from the same spot, though.
