Kunzite
[The theater is now empty, with only your team and any knights assigned to you left. Dionysus is still there, but seems somewhat distracted.]
You will asked to choose your theme, before you begin. Choose carefully, because you will be expected to attempt to integrate your theme into your poetry, moving forward. The remaining rounds will involve adding lines to a poem. I will provide you with the first few lines, and you will be expected to continue it with four to six lines of your own. Since we will be passing poems, time limits are quite strict and we will move on without you. You have thirty to forty minutes per round. Use them wisely.
((OOC: Poetry Round Robin! After the theme round, your team has 30-40 minutes to add 4-6 lines new lines to the poem. After the round, we'll pass the poem on and you'll have a new one to add to. The plan is to have four to five rounds, with the last round returning your original poem for an ending.
I am serious about the time limit per round. If you team is not finished in 40 minutes, we will move on without your contribution. Missing one round will not hurt your chances of winning, but missing a significant number will.))

Round One
Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing
Memory and desire, stirring
Dull roots with spring rain.
Winter kept us warm, covering
Earth in forgetful snow, feeding

Decision
Re: Decision
It's been long months and longer hours.
Lonely thoughts, they tried to take all friendly powers.
But in the rain, there's still some flowers.
A friend alone holds onto a feeling like an ember.
Round Two
Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing
Memory and desire, stirring
Dull roots with spring rain.
Winter kept us warm, covering
Earth in forgetful snow, feeding
A faceless complacency.
We huddled together, lying
Like seeds back-to-back, speaking
Only of growth. Then in a sudden rush--
Sunlight and water -- we sprouted,
And found ourselves different species.

Let's go with something like that.

Decision
Re: Decision
So we woke up to a great thought:
If we're so different, we really ought
To share the different things we know
And care for one another even though
We're not the same.
Round Three
Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing
Memory and desire, stirring
Dull roots with spring rain.
Winter kept us warm, covering
Earth in forgetful snow, feeding
Our wishes for unwanted change.
Even in our sleep we trust
That in our nightly endeavors
Will lead us away.
Yet what we welcome
May not be the easiest of comforts.
The path ahead may be dangerous,
But what may come
will be the fruits of our greatest labors
Knowing this, onward we push,
moving ever forward, never giving into fear.

Decision
Re: Decision
We don't need blue skies. It's all okay.
All we ask for is a helping hand
To guide us onwards on our way:
On this path we'll be fine, because at last our friends are here.
Round Four
APRIL is the cruellest month, breeding
Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing
Memory and desire, stirring
Dull roots with spring rain.
Winter kept us warm, covering
Earth in forgetful snow, feeding
The partners, they parted in December.
It's been long months and longer hours.
Lonely thoughts, they tried to take all friendly powers.
But in the rain, there's still some flowers.
A friend alone holds onto a feeling like an ember.
A friend alone holds onto a feeling
like an ember of conflict. The fires
of fall burned brightly, flames licking
higher and higher, two friends shouting
to overcome rain with stricken sparks.
Shot through the heart, and you're to blame.
Darling, you give love a bad name.
I play my part, and you play your game.
You give love a bad name.

Decision
Re: Decision
Two friends bound by dearest fate!
Things looked bad, and they got worse,
But they're better by the end of our verse.
When summer comes, the parted partners are together
No matter what happened to the weather.
