You're in a sumptuous room, with rich brocade in your team colors and fine appointments in copper and marble that should look bright and beautiful -- but everything is dusty and grey, with a furtive, abandoned air. This is a place that's been locked away for a long time. It feels as if it would be sad to linger here for long.

Fortunately (perhaps), after one good look at the room, you catch a brief, pained snatch of melody. Your vision goes dark, and you immediately find your mind somewhere else-- ♫

It was just a dream, right? All dreams end.

[Is a little relieved all the ugly things that were said seem to be momentarily forgotten in the wake of cuddles.]

And sometimes they're real.

Er ... well, no one ever said keeping hope in hard times was going to be easy.

I would still change whatever I had to, to make sure people didn't end up dead. No matter what.

We'll save everyone.

And the dream?

What happens if we change it?

We don't know.

[there's a little shrug.]

But anything is better than that.

Yes.

Wake up.

What?

End the dream. Get some breakfast.

What, now?

[clicks his fingers, looking eager.]

Bacon and pancakes! Lots of blueberries!

If you don't like the dream, then wake up from it.
