[ You are within a circle of trees and angels all made of water and all glowing faintly in your team's color. Somehow everything beyond this circle disappears in that glow. ]
[ The shape of a silver hand glows just beneath the surface of the water, waiting to be touched and imbued with the memory requested. ]
Memory: (Describe the chosen memory in second person--it doesn't have to be enormously detailed, but it should give a good impression.) Character It Comes From: Keyword: (Assign a keyword to this memory that you feel best sums up the experience, ideally a conceptual noun, e.g. treachery or avarice.)
Memory: You are sitting in a shuttle of some kind. It's dark, and you're surrounded by a lot of other girls... in your shuttle, there's maybe ten or twenty others. Every single one of these girls wants to make it into AKB0048. Every single one is here to help defend the Successors. It's kind of strange, isn't it? You didn't really expect that you'd be forced into combat so soon, but even so, you stuck with it. You spent the last three days learning how to shoot guns and how to beat up things. It didn't seem like idol training at first - you expected singing and dancing, after all - but you still stuck with it, even if it was difficult.
The anxiety grows as you get closer to the surface of the planet, though, and hits its highest point once you land and you get ready for the upcoming battle. The sound of "Beginner" starts in the distance. Everything quickly becomes chaos. Giant robots from the other side descend on the girls, and here you are, throwing grenades and wielding a micsaber against a bunch of giant robots with barely any protection.
There's a lot of suffering. Girls crying out as they get hit by bullets, girls crying because of how scary the situation is, girls crying because they just can't do it anymore. You're not one of them, even if you are scared out of your mind. Everywhere you look, though, there are some girls helping each other out as much as they can.
You eventually manage to make your way to Chieri. You talk to her about the situation, but a robot interrupts. Chieri runs, trying to create a distraction for you, but instead, you throw a grenade at the robot as a distraction so that it won't hurt Chieri. Maybe it's a little stupid, but you stand there for a moment, trying to catch your breath ... but then one of the laser guides appears on your chest... and Chieri jumps, taking the hit for you. You're terrified! It's horrible, you think she's dead and it's your fault -- but then she starts to stir. It turns out that the bullets were just paintballs.
The song is done, though. It turns out that the girls that did the most to support and protect each other... the ones that lasted the song... are the ones to pass the audition. You get to officially become understudies. It's kind of a euphoric feeling, realizing that you've taken a huge step toward achieving your dream, even if this bit was definitely one of many hardships to come... and you know that. Character It Comes From: Nagisa Keyword: Determination.
Virtue: Heart. Why Did You Choose This Virtue? Because it represents a lot of things that are important to Kunzite! Love, both romantic and platonic, are important to us. We like to follow our hearts and do what we want, too. Mm, and hearts are cute, too! I think that's important as well, but it's nowhere near as important as things like love. The reason Kunzite is able to work like it does is because we love each other and we support each other. We're stubborn, too, and we take a lot of important things to heart... like the different people on our team. We accept our differences and we take those to heart and we try to work really hard with each other to do something that's okay for everyone!
[ The trees and angels surrounding you quietly melt away, replaced by thirteen archways, each with glowing writing upon them. You have the sudden awareness that you will need to explore three of these entrances. ]
A tale of despair. A tale of determination that isn't yours. A tale of betrayal. A tale of a pioneer. A tale of wrath. A tale of friendship. A tale of a fight. Yet another tale of determination. A tale of bitterness. A tale of discord. A tale of partnership. A tale of trust.
[ Comment here every time you decide to pass through an arch. You will be presented with a scenario in each one, to which you must then react as a team. If you don't wish to decide on a reaction or solution to any given scenario, you may exit the archway and pick another one, but to finish the game you must solve three of the tales given to you here. ]
