That is a little vague. How much suffering?

It really is. And how do we qualify something as a "trial"?

A trial, typically, is a challenge that is overcome.

I don't think it has to be too extreme.

I could, if you want. I could talk about the monster I once fought in Brother Deer's realm.

I would be curious to hear that. I never encountered an monsters in his realm.

It was a quest, so I could get my special pills. It's the first time I got to use multiple transformations, since my prey was a shape-shifter.

You have more than the leopard?

Only in his realm. I had to keep changing in order to keep the beast in my sights. It was made from all the fur I collected from people here when I used Brother Deer's magic to help them get animal ears or tails.

His quests always are elaborate like that.

I think it will suffice. A quest is a trial.
