The room is like any other room, really—a cabin with a door, and windows, and beds. But the fireplace never gets warm, and the beds are hard, and the air is cold.

[ catches himself on Sasuke and looks up-- confused and surprised and disoriented -- and then... tries to smile? Awkwardly? idk this is all strange and awkward ]

Well. Hello.

[he fell right onto the ground, completely in shock for a moment. he looks exhausted and on his limit, tone is kind of odd. like he's not sure if this is actually happening, not actually moving.]

—David. You're out of the . . .

[ g...grins, somewhat sheepish ]

[a deep, almost pained exhale, maybe relaxing briefly for the first time since the game started. or since he found out David was booked, let's be real.]

[ ...leans his forehead on Sasuke's shoulder, hiding his small smile ]

I cannot deny that, at the moment.

[. . . raises one arm to wrap it around David's back, maybe a bit too tight to be comfortable. whispering.]
