The room is like any other room, really—a cabin with a door, and windows, and beds. But the fireplace never gets warm, and the beds are hard, and the air is cold.

On the table there is food—water, and dry bread, and there is a pot of stew that always stays warm, and full, and smells delicious.

[ Pointedly looking away from Sasuke, tense and a little closed in on himself. ]

[. . . sits on the bed, kind of tired from all the tension he's been through. not looking at him and speaking in a low voice so no one else can hear.]
