That's how it's been like, several times in the past. In games like these, the knights are targeted easily.

We should play our highest cards this round if we want to survive. Then we protect for the second round and play less damaging cards to keep building up our points.

The last time I listened to those that didn't want to hurt others, Onyx was brutally killed and Maleficent suffered greatly from it.

She felt it. It was tied to a deal she had with David, but I'm sure she also suffered because most of Onyx died that time except for Yuri.

Another advantage of playing out the highest cards is that we might be able to transfer points and protect other teams if we survive the first round.

There isn't one. Silver and Stephanie will be most likely against it. We might have to vote if we don't reach a decision. Dino might be willing to compromise better.
