GM - Onyx

The room is like any other room, really—a cabin with a door, and windows, and beds. But the fireplace never gets warm, and the beds are hard, and the air is cold.

(Is it familiar, this place? It's hard to tell . . .)

On the table there is food—water, and dry bread, and there is a pot of stew that always stays warm, and full, and smells delicious.

There are also five cards, waiting for your decision.

[ugh.]

We have to go under the assumption it's not the Darkness. And focus on obtaining as many points as possible if we want to survive.

Mm... I don't want to play the higher value cards on anyone, though.

Re: DISCUSSION

[personal profile] fraternaldevotion 2014-02-26 04:17 am (UTC)(link)
I do. People will die no matter what we do.

Re: DISCUSSION

That doesn't mean we have to be the ones to kill them. "They're going to die anyway." That was the logic the teams used on us during that game of Mira's.

Re: DISCUSSION

[personal profile] fraternaldevotion 2014-02-26 04:28 am (UTC)(link)
No. It's different. I don't care if I have to kill people as long as Onyx survives this game. I am not a hypocrite about this.

Re: DISCUSSION

I care. We're supposed to protect people, not hurt them.

Re: DISCUSSION

[personal profile] fraternaldevotion 2014-02-26 04:43 am (UTC)(link)
But we can get hurt and die? No. Last time I let you do it your way, we were killed.

If you truly want to protect people, then we have to stop these games from happening, but not now. We're already here and I will do what we have to do to survive.

I don't want to die either! But I'm not going to play completely aggressively!

Re: DISCUSSION

[personal profile] fraternaldevotion 2014-02-26 04:54 am (UTC)(link)
Then we only play the card with ten points, one with three and the one with four. I won't accept anything else.
exchanged: ((many))

You're going to have a hard time convincing the rest of us to make that play.

Re: DISCUSSION

[personal profile] fraternaldevotion 2014-02-26 05:15 am (UTC)(link)
You'd be surprised.

[one agreed, at least. one is more or less willing.]

The only way to protect some teams and ourselves is to get rid of the highest cards first, Silver. We need points, assuming we survive the first day. If we do, we will have enough points to either protect ourselves, transfer points or protect another team. We can't protect everybody, we can only make sure Maleficent won't suffer and to keep ourselves from danger for as long as we can.

[ughhhhhhhh why are you right]

I'm... willing to consider a strategy that gets us enough points to use a barrier.

Re: DISCUSSION

[because he prefers to have a strategy and is still a ninja.]

I reached an agreement with Dino, since he's refusing to use the highest card. The plan so far would be to use the six, four and a three points cards, which would leave us with 13 points. That would amount to 28 for the second day, which isn't enough to protect another team but it might be enough to give us a barrier, and to have some left to work towards a second barrier for the third day.

Wait, the six card? That one's awful!

I'm aware, but we have to play it. It might not be fatal and at most it might be fever rather than literally burning.

Re: DISCUSSION

I agree to them as long as he agrees to mine.

One more thing. If we lose all our points on the second round because we're hit hard, all of that will be ruled out. Can we agree that our survival, or part of it, comes first?

Re: DISCUSSION

At least one of us has to survive. I agree to that much.
