dramatispersonae | Mirage Heart

At first, it feels like your limbs have gone totally limp and you’re floating gently underwater, slowly and serenely making your way down a dark blue abyss... and then it occurs to you you’re actually flying rather than being engulfed, and it's actually the deep blue sky stretching out around you in every direction. It’s awe inspiring, and it leaves you with a wonderful feeling of being completely capable and free...

That is, until you begin having difficulties, your body is too unbalanced and heavy to keep the flying up. It soon becomes apparent the floating feeling you’ve been having is actually falling, and as if to reflect the realization, the velocity changes immediately to a gut-wrenching DROP. The world blurs, the sound of something shattering echoes in your ears, and your body feels like it is about to be pulled apart as something CRUNCHES.

The experience leaves you utterly befuddled. It takes a while to regain your senses...

[ The cat considers it, then gets up as if to follow, curling around Garry's legs. Siana goes to push the 'up' button. ]

Yup~ Up here.

[gives the cat one last head pat, before climbing to his feet again, stance shaky from all the blood loss. another blue petal tumbles out of his pocket]

All right. Lead the way, Siana.

[ They enter the elevator, complete with cat! There are a lot of options for the floors, but most of it is scribbled out. The two visible options, at the top, are written 'Penthouse' and 'Atrium'. ]

[ There's a keyswipe box, clearly needed to pass security to get up to those floors. Thankfully, Siana is to the rescue, digging a -- Peridot key? Out of her pocket and swiping it, before pressing the Penthouse button. ]

[leans against the elevator walls as it goes up, taking a moment to catch his breath and regain a little bit of strength]

[ The doors open to... a glamorous penthouse! Complete with marble floor, high-tech televisions, a mahogany desk in the corner... and surely more. It doesn't look derelict at all, and Siana and the cat both practically skip inside. There's large windows which practically take up the entire wall looking out into a glimmering city nightscape. ]

Come on~

[stepping out of the elevator after the cat and Siana, marveling at the room]

Why, it's so glamorous!

Thank you.

[ An amused voice says, from the direction of a cushy looking couch. The cat finally lets go of the bird, and it flies in the direction of the voice-- to Mirage-- and lands on his hand. ]

[ Siana flops down on another seat, clearly taking it all in. ]

O-oh!

[hadn't. . . been expecting the bird to fly, but seems pleased when it does]

Siana suggested I come up here. She said if we did, we would be somewhere nice.

[he feels like he's being quizzed WHAT IS SYMBOLISM]

The building, you said, represented reality and the need to face it. The setting represented communication, and the first step for getting anywhere. So. . . if Mirage is at the top of the building, then this room. . .

Is it another step towards communicating and understanding?

I'm afraid I still don't know enough to get the answer spot on. Erm. . . and I'm not sure I'm so great with heart symbolism, either.

Damn right! Anyway, Cal here is maturity~ And that means restraint, knowing how to manage his relationships and gain and stuff! If you look around, you'll be able to fin all the memories from home here on display too.

[ Siana hops up from her seat and pushes Garry there gently, before scampering off somewhere in the penthouse to get some. ]
