[ The room you find yourself in is well-lit with, although its hard to tell exactly where the light source is. It also seems to be made up of the same walls that you might have seen around the Ring. Ones that move.

There's also a variety of crafting materials: paper, crayons, clay, wood, a carving knife, scissors and whatever else you might need to design a piece of art.

And on the floor, there's a piece of paper with words on it. Strange. ]

"Are you ready to tell me about yourselves? Okay, this one's easy. I want you to make me something that shows something meaningful to your team. I know! It should be a useful shape. Like a boat or a building or even just a statue. Don't worry. It doesn't have to be the real size. But it has to represent something important to you, okay?

And after that, I want you to give it some special abilities. I have a list of them. Just pick three and those will be its strengths. Oh, and you need to pick three weaknesses too because everything has weaknesses, right? And they can’t be the same as strengths or the other way around. That’s way too boring. Is there a structure that is common to all of us?

Oh, well, I am the only one here still, so I will make it how I like, but I cannot craft.

"Just describe it. Tell me what you want to use and I"ll help!"

Then if it must be more plainly a structure, I will have a scale model of our cabin.

"That was great! I think I'm learning a lot. Now, let's see how you did."

The walls around you shift and suddenly, all the structures the teams built began to grow larger and larger until each is at least 10 feet tall. A massive wave from out of nowhere washes over you. It doesn't drench you but instead seems to form a barrier, separating you from your structures and you instinctively know this is for your own protection and that the other teams all have one. The barrier gives just enough room to move about comfortably and a more translucent side that allows you to view the structures beyond it.

"This is the best part, I promise! Remember that list I gave you? Those words are now your abilities and you can use them to target everyone else's structures. You can choose three abilities each time to attack structures on up to three different teams per round. Also, once you use a word against a team, you can’t use it again so be clever. You can't attack a team more than once on a single round, but you can attack the same team for each round. I guess if you’re super boring, you can attack only one team each round, but you have to attack at least one because I don’t like cowards.

If you attack with a trait the team's structure is weak against, you hit them! If you don't, you miss. But watch out! Because if you attack with a trait the team's structure is strong against, you get hit instead and you can't block. Each team's structure can take six hits before it's completely destroyed.

We’ll play three rounds! Hmm, I'll give the most points to the last teams standing and the ones that do the most damage. Let's start!”

I am fighting with a house?

I knew I ought have gone with a ship, but I am the only one who likes ships so much.

Attacking would be eaiser with them, too— he teams I know best on how they would play are those teams that I do not wish to attack —but I will manage. I do not have as many connections to hinder me without them here.

I may as well explore the mechanic, since the strategic modes will be unpredictable.

Attack Coral with Logical.
Attack Sapphire with Emotional.
Attack Citrine with Longevity.

Coral: Iolite has ascertained that the Coral structure was built on a sinkhole and has somehow triggered it to start sinking. 1 damage to Coral.
Sapphire: Iolite has discovered that Sapphire team's heart was just not really in this project and targets its weak spot with a well-placed ramrod that swings in from who knows where. Sadly, Iolite only suspected Sapphire's structure was not built with the utmost love and their poor judgment results in that swing striking a particularly secure area that causes the ramrod to fly back toward Iolite's structure. 1 damage to Iolite.
Citrine: Onslaught after onslaught of attackers rush the structure. When will it stop? 1 damage to Citrine.

Emerald: A catapult aims a perfectly positioned shot intended to crush the Emerald structure from above. 1 damage to Emerald.
Ruby: What appears to be a humongous snake tail swipes at the Ruby structure's center. 1 damage to Ruby.
Turquoise: Iolite has summoned the gods' wrath against the Turquoise structure and a fearsome storm rages. 1 damage to Turquoise.

Amethyst: The attacks seem to come from every direction. Fire arrows. Thrown battle axes. Grappling hooks. The works. Too bad, the Amethyst structure is well protected in multiple areas, repelling each attack back against Iolite's structure. 1 damage to Iolite.

[ When the dust has cleared, the water barrier surrounding you shrinks down until it pools at your feet, barely an inch high. It’s still quite cold though.

Jorgi’s voice laughs again, exuberantly.

“Now, that was fun! Play with me again sometime, okay?”

And then you sink into the pool. ]
