The hero's love was ill and couldn't leave her bed on some days, but she loved gardening more than anything. So, the hero would go out and find her a special flower every day to brighten her spirits. Like this, they grew old together even as the illness grew worse. They lived happily and fondly! Then, one day, when he came home with another flower for her, she had passed away.
So, he put her body in a boat to float away into peace. When he looked down into the water of the river, he was surprised to see something looking at him—Her reflection! The one that he loved most happily beckoned to him, and he was glad to see that she was content. Without thinking, he went into the water to join her spirit that was reflected in the water. They lived together as happily as before, but without any sickness.
To avoid an ending like this, the gods would see the love between them! So, they granted the flower the power to cure her illness. With the cure, they are able to heal her and all to come!
But we're also submitting a second part! We worked hard on the first part, but there's another story too similar to be ignored! Perhaps it isn't the one you're looking for, but I've got a way to fix that one as well.
So there once was a man who didn't share others affections. He thought he was best and entertained them, but eventually he tired of them and left them. Annoyed with this continuous pattern, the Gods decided to see how he'd fair with a love who would never return his affection. The same feeling that he'd given so many others. And so he fell in love with his own reflection. When he reached out to touch it, hold it, and all other manner he eventually drowned for being too close. After he drowned a flower bloomed where his body once was.
...If you ask me this hero was hardly a hero at all. Each hero has their own flaws, but this one was meant to show us a lesson. So in that way, it shouldn't be changed at all. Vanity and lack of care for anything else is considered a sin after all. But I'd like to believe everyone could learn to love.
What this hero needed to do was to change his ways. Someone needed to intervene and show him something there was a better love. The gods could have done it, just the same, but decided to punish instead. If you ask me, he should have been shown what true love is. He should have lived a time where no one was enarmoured with him, as horrible as it sounds. Where he struggled to be noticed and faced great difficulty. And, despite that, there was someone in the end who cared for him and loved him when no one else did.
Surely, if it ended like that then he'd never have such a fate!

But if this is the task then there's nothing to worry about! We're write a story of a tragic hero sacrificing himself for love.
Re: DISCUSS
Sure, but before that, we have to choose one of the three options above.
