Erm, all right—let this tale ring through the ages of the brave bacon and his brigade of donuts, orange juice and coffee. Together they made a fine breakfast, but not long they had befallen an unfortunate circumstance. In order for the bacon to remain unspoiled, he needed to be charred! So he was carved with a sword—which is a fancy word for knife, I should note—and thrown into a pan. His life of nobility had hardly begun, and he was left charred and broken.

Yet there were no regrets! He was delicious.
