[The interior of the tent is slightly dim, light filtering only poorly through the paper. Instructions for Round One are already inscribed on the back wall of the tent.]
[Have you ever wondered what stories are built of? Or where Personae truly come from? It seems the current crop don’t suit all of you, and you’d prefer a Realm where you could make your own choices and work your own fates. But you’re afraid to pay the price for it.
Using no more than three of the pieces of detritus you salvaged from Camelot’s ash-heap, today we’ll craft a Persona together, and see if you can do a better job than Beauty’s spell.
Devise a name for your Persona. Then, build them an identity to match. An idea that gives them power, a question they want to answer, and a unique ability they use to get what they want. Each of these must correspond with a piece of salvage now in your tent, but you may use the same piece more than once, if your imagination is strained. Then, write their story - one sentence from every person in your tent, no more and no less.]
[OOC: fill out the following list for your Persona and submit as a team in no later than 3 PM EST. Earlier turn-ins are preferred if possible. As soon as you have submitted, ping Mordred in chan.]
[ Name: The Kingdom of Free Will An Idea: "A land where all people may gather and do as they please out of the goodness or bleakness of their own desires." (the item that goes with the idea): A sword, representing the force of the individual will! A question: "Can many different people acting chaotically and out of their own hearts coexist in one land?" (the item that goes with the question): A parasol, representing the ability of different things to be gathered beneath one cover! An Ability: The power to pick ourselves up after we fall pursuing our own path, and to mend our bonds after we scrap because of clashing beliefs or opinions. (the item that goes with the ability): The medical supplies, to represent healing and repair. A Story: We each must contribute a sentence, so shall I start? "It so happens there is a land where people do as they wish." ]

[When you return to your tents, the inscription on the wall has changed:
How often our heroes fail to live up to our ideals. What follows is the tale of a Persona crafted by your companions today, twisted by nothing more or less than the weight of narrative itself. Describe how you would free them from their role without harming too many of your fellows - but again, take no more than one sentence per person to do so. You may submit your answers individually, one sentence at a time, or as a group.]

A formless, shapeless, silent and nameless Persona has come to Aather, and in its games, the things that matter to you most - identity, memory, bonds with team and friends alike - vanish, leaving those who play with it at first empty, and then afraid. It has never been seen or spoken to, never located within the Ring, and even the other Persona cannot define it well enough to speak of it. But as time goes on, more and more goes missing in its games, and it is thought that before long, life may be among the things that vanish, or it may spirit someone off to its realm without warning. Time is running out to protect Aather’s champions from the invisible Persona.
We decided to name our Persona Honeycakes and will treat it as though it were a cat. We'll distract it from taking our feelings by giving it string, catnip or using a laser pointer. We'll spray it with water when it misbehaves and...decorate it with bows and cuddle it when it behaves. Eventually, having no other identity to accept, our Persona will eventually become a kitten named Honeycakes.
...We'll also introduce ourselves to it regularly and remind it of our own identities for good measure.
