KUNZITE

[the room is warm and covered in tapestries that are Kunzite themed, with Camelot heraldry at the head of the room. there are long tables with food on them, but the majority of the food is meat. not rabbit—or not rabbit only, but also bear and other types of animals. the only types of non-meat food available are potatoes and there are a lot of them. there are also large jugs of red wine.

lining these tables are wooden benches. not terribly comfortable, but at least they're somewhere to sit down.]

A feast before a battle seems wise, doesn't it? Even if this is not a traditional battle. I do hope you enjoy.

So it's basically a question of whether we want to hit as hard as we can or set up a combo for later. Well. This is a game, after all!

I think you'd have a better idea than me what's the best strategy... I kind of like the defensive option, but then we'd have to use the same deck twice in a row.

Here are our two major options as I see them! One is starting out with the Snow Queen: Blizzard for damage, Freeze to set up our next round. Then depending on our enemy's reaction, we can choose to either do a healing/damage round with Cheshire, or a protection/damage round with Thorn.

Alternately, we start out with Thorn to assure no damage for our second round while still being able to attack. We have less flexibility in how to react to their move, though!

[nods!]

Ah... when you put it like that, the first option sounds better? There's more flexibility, and... it'd have the potential to reduce the number of cards they could play right when we'd be bringing out the heavy damage.

The first option has more of a risk of losing HP, since we won't be able to play as many cards. But it's a risk I'm fine with taking.

Yeah, and the Snow Queen has the highest HP out of all of ours, anyway.

It'll be interesting no matter what!

I'm glad we could play one that's a little bit more like what you're used to...

I like a little more freedom in constructing my decks, but it'll do.

It would've been nice if we could've seen the attacks in each deck before choosing, huh?

Right!
