Peridot - Game 198

You find yourself standing in a small, snowy clearing in a pine forest. It's nighttime and bitterly cold, moreso than Camelot; the stars go on forever, and there's a very bright full moon. You can see quite easily. There's a stone archway behind you, and through it you can see the Ring, still with the tables full of mead laid out. Scattered around the clearing are twenty-four free-standing wooden doors, carved and polished. They don't seem like they'd lead anywhere if you opened them, but well, #personae.

You are standing in front of an old, well-built hall, with cattle roaming outside it and a homely interior visible through the open door. Shields line the outside eaves, each older and more weathered than the next, as if generations had left their mark here. An ancient, sprawling tree stands nearby, along with a neatly tended vegetable patch. The whole estate is enclosed in a well-built fence, a square set on point, punctuated with poles inscribed with strange letters and tied about with red and white ribbons.
