You find yourself in an unassuming room. It's spacious, though it's fairly empty except for the furniture in the center. There, a collection of chairs are gathered around a large table. ...Or, at least, they're chair- and table-like things. The chairs are made all of one piece, of an unidentifiable plasticky substance, and they're fairly uncomfortable. The table is made of the same substance, and is just a round platform on a pedestal.

On the table, however, are pens and paper, and in the center of the table there's an opaque cloud, spinning slowly in swirls of mist.

Instructions come both as a voice and as words in the mist, and you instinctively know you can answer either by speaking back or by writing down your answer and throwing it into the cloud.

Once upon a time a strange voice summoned many people to a frozen lake. "I've never held a game before, so let's give it a try," the voice said. Two of the people, a woman and a dragon who were on the same team, found themselves in an uncomfortable room with another woman, who was from the team of knights. Together, they accomplished the tasks given to them by the voice. They picked a number between one and a hundred, eighty-eight, because the dragon said it was lucky and they liked the sound of luck. The were given another number for some reason. Then, they had to decide on a task, and chose "eat a steak" because it sounded like a tasty task. Third, they had to create a story together, one that could be true or made up, and chose to tell the story of the game they had been summoned to play as part of the game. And the mysterious voice was so taken by their true tale that the three of them won the game.
