[GROUP TWO]

You're in a small dome-shaped chamber, the walls and floor made of white frosted glass. It's cool here.

In the middle of the floor is a small flame, with no apparent source of fuel. Arranged around it are five gleaming copper objects, each labelled:
  • a tiny watering can (GROWTH)
  • a winding watch the size of your thumbnail, which you can set to run backwards or forwards (TIME)
  • a heart (CARE)
  • a mesh bag full of copper flakes (STRENGTH)
  • a lump of what seems to be metallic clay, which you can mold into whatever shape you want (CHOICE)

“Feed the flame,” Firebird says. “Today is for creation. Consider what you may make, and why.”

[skeptical]

Is that the best choice in terms of altering a room?

I realize you don't like me, but we're playing this game together, and a dragon has very little to do with rooms that I can see. If you aren't willing to explain your thinking more clearly, perhaps you should hand over the clay to someone who will.

It made sense to others.

What would you make?

I can't speak for the others, but it does not make sense to me, and you haven't offered any particularly compelling reason why it should. [inclines her head toward Van] He offered a possible reading of the offering, but it still seems far afield to me when the object is to create environment.

I would chose a theme to personalize and inhabit the room, which could then be strengthened. What I would make would depend on the theme which we wished the room to embody.

What if we wanted the room to embody dragons that like fire.
snakeeyed: (No more rhymes now I mean it.)

Then I'd be inclined to disagree.

You do that a lot.

I'm not inclined to hold my tongue when others are doing things I find pointless or stupid, or which otherwise impinge on my own well-being and agency, if that's what you mean.
ademoelord: (hey you guys)

Then what would you want to make.

That would depend on what we've decided on as a group. If you're set on thinking of this in terms of a dragon, then a better way to think of it would be as an environment for the dragon—and a particular end to that environment. You might make him a cave or a nest to grow in, which symbolizes a nurturing situation which will eventually enable him to fly.

... That makes sense.
