You're in a small dome-shaped chamber, the walls and floor made of white frosted glass. It's cool here.
In the middle of the floor is a small flame, with no apparent source of fuel. Arranged around it are five gleaming copper objects, each labelled:

- a winding watch the size of your thumbnail, which you can set to run backwards or forwards (TIME)
- a heart (CARE)
- a mesh bag full of copper flakes (STRENGTH)
- a lump of what seems to be metallic clay, which you can mold into whatever shape you want (CHOICE)
