You get the sense that you pass through a door, but it shuts immediately behind you. However, when you look back, there is nothing but a dead end wall behind you. There is carpet is lush beneath your feet, and the corners are free of dust. Except for the lack of any actual entrance, it could easily be the entranceway of a lavish mansion.

What were you doing before you returned to your room? Did you see anyone else?

We all returned to our rooms after we decided that dinner wasn't happening.

Hmph. The resident of room J was the first to propose that our dinner guest wasn't going to arrive. Eventually I and the resident of room I agreed. The residents of rooms T and H wanted to keep waiting, but eventually the resident of room A agreed that it was best to give up for the moment, and we all retired.
