Erika heart

You get the sense that you pass through a door, but it shuts immediately behind you. However, when you look back, there is nothing but a dead end wall behind you. There is carpet is lush beneath your feet, and the corners are free of dust. Except for the lack of any actual entrance, it could easily be the entranceway of a lavish mansion.

Any magical or otherwise supernatural abilities you have are disabled.

We meaning all of you in these rooms?

Then, are you saying you were disappointed not to meet them, and were unable to sleep when they declined to arrive?

Of course it is! Without even calling to cancel? How gauche! Such a person has no sense of the importance of scheduling! I despise tardy people. What sort of appointment was it? A dinner?

Still, you not ought simply sit and wait. Have you nothing to do but toss and turn? What a bleak picture this room makes. If you will excuse me, I'll return in a moment.

You ought to occupy yourself, Erika.

She can spare a few! There were a great many in there. Did you stay in this room all night once you saw your guest was not arriving?
