You get the sense that you pass through a door, but it shuts immediately behind you. However, when you look back, there is nothing but a dead end wall behind you. There is carpet is lush beneath your feet, and the corners are free of dust. Except for the lack of any actual entrance, it could easily be the entranceway of a lavish mansion.

Any magical or otherwise supernatural abilities you have are disabled.

BEDROOM I

This appears to be a bedroom. The narrow bed is neatly made, and other than the wardrobe and desk, all the walls are lined with bookshelves, which are all packed solidly full of books. On the desk are several rolls of duct tape, a heavy black marker, and a fingerprinting kit. By the door is a hook with five keys hung from it.

The room is otherwise empty.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the books all appear to be classic mystery novels. Agatha Christie is particularly prominent.

Ivory took the marker and some duct tape.

The fingerprinting kit appears to be well-stocked, with both ink for taking people's fingerprints and dust and brushes for fingerprinting objects... if you even know what any of that stuff is.
