[SOMETHING WEIRD, they're in the dark forest but then it's also a moonlit night on the beach but then it's a street in Japan and the sakura blossoms are falling no wait it's the forest again the forest a pirate ship in the forest the pirate ship is now a nurses office--

Fire falls to his knees hard on a tree branch, grunting and looking pale.]

[ Reaching out to grab him just in case something attacks. ]

Where are we?

[You're in the forest again. Was there ever anything else? The sight of it is slipping out of your mind, what was it...]

Damn it... Hey, Annabeth, give me your hand?

Yeah. Sure.

[ And she offers it to him, a little confused. ]

[Deep breath, wrapping her hands around the boost and again trying to avoid touching her with creepy black boost hand. Okay. Alright. THIS TIME, the scenery doesn't change but it does start flickering again, and images flood in her head.

Her arrival in the ring from Fire's perspective, welcoming her.

Being outraged at Mother's game and demanding to put her on trial.

Citrine's campfire, making s'mores with them all.

Their candyland game with Adam, group hugs and making sure she's next to Percy.

The first meal he cooked for Citrine when he got his cooking skill back, everyone sitting down to eat together. This memory comes faster and stronger than the others.]

[ Well, that makes her a little bit emotional. She's not sure what to do but she is strongly encouraging those happy feelings. ]

[That encouragement helps! Memories flow through, not just memories of her and Citrine but with other people too, with taking some memories with Shark and Kit, Adam lifting him over his head when he gets his muscles back, fighting an evil fanged bathtub with a spoon with Lloyd, talking to Yuta in the book every night--Him and Yuta looking over maps, being called an idiot and teasing each other-Yuta fretting over him as he lies on the floor in a puddle of his own blood, holes in his chest but he's laughing and looking up to Nami, thanking her for avoiding his vital areas and helping them save that little girl-Sitting in a nurses office, all beat up and his sister and his friends scold him for getting into trouble again as they treat and fuss over him-Looking up at his exam results, shocked that he passed, Hirose grinning happily and telling him I told you so, Megu crying tears of joy that they'll all be going to the same high school together--

The boost disappears, fading from their hands, and for a second the whole forest looks brighter.]
