I'm not sure that's a good idea, either. Fire told me that once he got older, he got better at dealing with this stuff. Wouldn't it be a bad idea to just take something that ... is part of how he's learned to function out of him?

Not out of him, but elsewhere...though if he deals by compartmentalizing, that doesn't sound like a great idea either, yeah. There isn't any functioning here, that part must be elsewhere...

I rolled in the water, and it was sad, but I thought about Annabeth, and I got out, and kid Fire was there, but we drowned again, and Fire helped me out.
