KNIGHTS

There is cauldron in the center over your area. The walls are tinged in your team's colors, but besides the cauldron, it's bare.

The water in the cauldron is glowing faintly.

Then, Nimue speaks, and as she speaks, the cauldron begins to reflect her vision.

"There lies a kingdom in ruin... Through no fault of its own. All of its inhabitants dead, or lost to the world. Though it lies in ruin, you can see the the faint remnants of the beauty it once contained."

A pause, her voice sounds fainter now.

"Heroes... you have choices that we do not. How... would you use them...?"

Yeah, but it's not going to be the same as for you, or for Lloyd and Mithos. Already, people in this world are brought back to life when they've died unfairly! And... yeah, I'll admit, there's something weird and wrong about it. But as for me, I'd rather find a way to bring someone back to life than leave 'em dead, that's just my personality. I don't... I can't put a price on someone's life, can't decide when a consequence is too terrible, when it's already worth more than anything! I guess the only thing that'd stop me if they'd come back and they weren't really themselves, so it wasn't saving the same life at all!

Would you bring someone back if they don't want to come back?

Yeah. Someone who'd rather be dead than alive... something like that is way too sad! I'd bring them back and have them treasure the life they got!

[makes a face, but smooths it out, turning to look away]

Treasuring life is one thing. Either way, the consequences are too great to do so.

So you'd decide when someone's died fairly or unfairly instead, huh? And what they'd want? Maybe sometimes it's possible the way you're saying, the way it is here, but don't decide that not doing it that way for every situation is not valuing life just like that!

[SO DO I!]

And you think your way of deciding things is any better, that you ca say it's valuing life? As if! At least I'm preferring life over death here!

You're the one making it about valuing life or not! That's not the point either! Ugh—
