TIGER'S EYE

There is cauldron in the center over your area. The walls are tinged in your team's colors, but besides the cauldron, it's bare.

The water in the cauldron is glowing faintly.

Then, Nimue speaks, and as she speaks, the cauldron begins to reflect her vision.

"There lies a kingdom in ruin... Through no fault of its own. All of its inhabitants dead, or lost to the world. Though it lies in ruin, you can see the the faint remnants of the beauty it once contained."

A pause, her voice sounds fainter now.

"Heroes... you have choices that we do not. How... would you use them...?"

Is this "kingdom" Aather?

It does, a bit. I mean, I know Aather can be restored. But the ruins of any old kingdom are just ruins. The kingdom itself's got to be long gone, nothing to be done about it.

Probably, yeah. I mean, I've never heard of anything else like it.

So I guess I'd let people know about the ruins, so they could go see them for themselves and archaeologists and whatever could tell us about what happened there.

I'm guessing "figure out who the traitor is" would be too easy.

Alright, if the King's fair then it can't be him, and I'm also gonna guess he's a decent judge, since he's so fair. So let's start with questioning all the knights individually to see if it's any of them.

We'd just have a little chat. About the kingdom and what they think of it, whether they've seen anyone acting suspicious, who they think could be a traitor.

That depends. Was it a knight or one of the common folk?

Yeah, but did people know that? What sort of position did he have?

Execute him, then.

[god what is it with the place and making kids do things kids shouldn't do] I'd tell him to find an adult he trusts to help him rule until he's old enough to do it himself.
