CARNELIAN
There is cauldron in the center over your area. The walls are tinged in your team's colors, but besides the cauldron, it's bare.
The water in the cauldron is glowing faintly.
Then, Nimue speaks, and as she speaks, the cauldron begins to reflect her vision.
"There lies a kingdom in ruin... Through no fault of its own. All of its inhabitants dead, or lost to the world. Though it lies in ruin, you can see the the faint remnants of the beauty it once contained."
A pause, her voice sounds fainter now.
"Heroes... you have choices that we do not. How... would you use them...?"

Scenario One
"You may choose as you see fit the fate that you would believe... it deserves."
"You may ask me any questions."
"And I, in turn, may ask you questions for your answer."
Re: Scenario One
Choices you do not have, really. What an hilarious thing to say.

"Through no fault of its own" is a little too vague. What happened to the kingdom? What about its rulers...? Did they just let it happen?

Re: Scenario One
If the kingdom has been burden to the ground, there isn't much to do now is there? Especially not by an outsider.
Did no one at all survive?
Re: Scenario One
Re: Scenario One
Reunite them all. With a strong leader who'd care about the people to lead them, make it so all those who survived will be able to return to their kingdom.

Re: Scenario One
Make him a long lost prince or something, it's not like I care.
Re: Scenario One
Re: Scenario One
Just make the long lost prince decide on it on its own or something-- he's fueled by his love for his people.
Re: Scenario One
Scenario two
The cauldron begins to reflect this, rewinding in time.
"However, there is a traitor in their midst, who seeks to destroy them. How would you prevent this?"

Though the king trusts his men greatly, he should be aware someone in his position attracts enemies as well. Not all of his knights are his personal friends, are they? Some, maybe, but certainly not all.
One of his friends will tell him to be careful and tip him in about suspicious behavior. Wanting to look into that, the king will investigate each one of his knight more closely-- and eventually will find out the traitor.
Then he'll execute him— announcing it publically as a warning to anyone who'd seek to do the same.

Final Question
The image in the cauldron is of a young boy, awkward and gawky, yet he wears a crown upon his head, even as he seems a bit ill at ease.
"What... would you tell this young boy?"
Re: Final Question
Furthermore, a ruler should possess the instinct of a beast and the heart of a man. Never be afraid to inflict punishment and do what you must for your kingdom, but be a fair and just king.
... and another thing. Remember that a king exists for his people. There's no king without people, so remember you are there to serve them. Many people's lives are now resting on your shoulders, so don't forget.
That's all.
