AMETHYST

[The room is circular and surrounded by a series of ionic columns, the floor and ceiling stretching overhead fashioned out of cracked, white stone. The area beyond the columns is pitch black, and the room itself is lit only by dimly flickering candles. The candles rest on top of a stone table, which sits in the middle of the room.

And next to the candles rest four numbered boxes]

I was trying to make sure we'd be okay at the end of things. [still kind of prodding at her stomach to make sure it's all there] If we get someone giving a task to us this round, we might've still needed that hope bottle, if it was more difficult for healers to deal with.

Hogwash. We would use the hope on you and foist the bad apple off onto another team, just as you would do if any of has been shishkabobed through the motherfucking stomach!

Yeah, well, I'm older than you, and we still have the chance of someone foisting their bad apple on to us.

[makes faces, trying hard not to cry, but nods vigorously]

[sits up and pulls her into a tight hug] Hey, shh, it's all right. I'm okay.

[clinging, still hot and shivery, but not actually crying]

Thank goodness.

Can't get rid of me that easy. [she'll just hold on to Jill until the game's over or Jill wants her to let go.]

[will snuggle in for a little bit, but after a couple seconds she's going to disengage for the purposes of coughing fit]
