[The room is circular and surrounded by a series of ionic columns, the floor and ceiling stretching overhead fashioned out of cracked, white stone. The area beyond the columns is pitch black, and the room itself is lit only by dimly flickering candles. The candles rest on top of a stone table, which sits in the middle of the room.

And I know exactly what I did because I have killed people before. I made sure not to hit anyone vital to us. And we mostly countered things.

It doesn't matter if they're not vital for us.
I've been in these games. I died in my first one. And it's not what happens that's the worst. It's the fact there's barely any room to take control, to not be coerced.
To feel like there's no hope.
Any sort of control at all can do a lot to help people deal.
