HELIODOR

[The room is circular and surrounded by a series of ionic columns, the floor and ceiling stretching overhead fashioned out of cracked, white stone. The area beyond the columns is pitch black, and the room itself is lit only by dimly flickering candles. The candles rest on top of a stone table, which sits in the middle of the room.

And next to the candles rest four numbered boxes]

Let's avoid fatal organ spots, but I can definitely do enough to make it something that's just more annoying than dangerous.

...there's a good wood base. [Moving down, untying the rope and lifting up the pat leg.] We could try it. I can always fix it later.

[Sitting down and extending his leg, making sure the pants and rope is out of the way.]

[and after a moment, he stabs it in! this is stabbing wood, so there's a bit of chipping, but he's damn strong, so it makes it through]

All right, there's your damn task, persona. We're giving our hope to Jasper.

[nothing happens for a moment. . . then the candles flicker]

[you can cast, but that takes a lot of energy out of Rider, and the cut is barely closed at all]

I know it is, but I still don't think it's fair to let other teams deal with our tasks.

Yeah, and odds are that it's gonna lead to us losing, but you know what? I'll take it.
