[The room is circular and surrounded by a series of ionic columns, the floor and ceiling stretching overhead fashioned out of cracked, white stone. The area beyond the columns is pitch black, and the room itself is lit only by dimly flickering candles. The candles rest on top of a stone table, which sits in the middle of the room.

And next to the candles rest four numbered boxes]

[INTERVENING, hugging Sixes from behind]

[funny hugs don't usually knock the breath out of people but this one does. just. struggling a little like it's completely unconscious and he's not even noticing that he's doing it. shaking with feelings.]

[Just keeps on holding him]

Sixes. Hey.

[ugggggghhhhhhhh]

[silent]

[possibly moving one hand to wrap around his wrist and squeeze, not like he's trying to wrestle out, just. holding on.]

They're being idiots, but we can talk them round, okay? We won't let them keep thinking like that.

Riku won't listen to a damn thing...

[he's thoroughly deflated, his voice is just kind of small and weak-sounding now]

I know. He's scared for us and it's making him an idiot.

[pretty much limp in his arms now, slumped against him] And he's dense when it comes to other peoples' feelings. Not usually a problem, but...

We'll make him understand somehow.

[s-sigh]

...he'd better.

[ugh now I feel like a jerkass]

[You're not a jerkass you're just having some feelings :( Ruffles his hair]
