Consider it a juicy little tidbit that you got for free!
You mean vote everyone in our column even though we'll be wrong two out of three?
Exactly. We'd be wrong twice, but we'd be guaranteed one, and we'd have a one out of three chance for two. Those are better odds than what we'd get if we chose randomly. The odds that we'd pick three are slim.
Unless something stands out to us, that would be my plan.

Well, I definitely don't think it's Heliodor.
That's just my instinct! Besides, they were excited about solving the mystery, and I think Rider's an honest kid, and he said he wasn't a fox.
Well, welcome back, anyway. What do you think of this game? Are you good at puzzles?
You do realize if we don't vote for them on that terrible logic, we're possibly giving ourselves none instead of our definite one?
I agree.
This is our best shot.
Even suspicious behavior could be a ruse.

This sorts a little dull if you ask me. Don't generally have the patience for them.
But, I agree with Karkat's choice of logic in our column. The only other way is if we think there is some sort of pattern to the chosen teams.

I'm not inclined to trust things like "Hiccup said he isn't a fox." Hiccup isn't a complete fucking idiot.
My instincts are good! And if we're do that there's no way we're getting more than one right!
My instincts say it's not Heliodor, though...
For the best, I think. Even if Hiccup doesn't like to lie, there's little incentive for him not to. The only clues would be if we know someone is a bad liar and know them well enough to read.
Nothing! I just talked to them and I don't feel like it's them!
There's no reason to rule them out, especially if the roles were randomly assigned. The only reason to rule them out would be if we can think of a pattern between teams. But since we don't have any inclination either way, logic us the best bet.
What did they say to you?
What did they say to you?
[ frowning a bit at your language!! ]
Of course not. But I don't know what a troll is.
Of course not. But I don't know what a troll is.
We have a shot at two, because in the last row we don't pick ourselves. You don't think Hiccup could lie?
I'm not saying he did, but it isn't solid enough. Unless there's someone in that row you're sure of?

I don't think we've met yet.

Well, Jason was excited about solving the mystery and stuff, which he wouldn't need to do if we was a fox, right? And Rider seems like an honest kid and he didn't seem like he was lying when he said he wasn't a fox.
Exactly. There's no sense in it. Besides, she said there might be other criteria for winning. The best strategy could be one.
...My instincts say it's Sapphire! And if we decide that, that makes other things easier, right?
