Instructions: I have heard of the games before, wolves and sheep. They didn't seem much fun. This time, it is just a game and perhaps something much quicker. How does this sound—I've picked four teams to be my special foxes. It is their job to work together and stay hidden. The rest of you against them (do I have to call you anything, since you're just normal?) will try to find them within the next three hours.

But to make things more fair, there will be a clue. You see all the teams arranged just so? In each row and each column, there will be only one fox team. That helps, doesn't it? I think it should.

When your team thinks it knows who's a fox, place a vote on them. You have one vote per team, per row. If you have not voted when time runs out, then I won't be able to score you for whether you were right or not...

Foxes will receive points for every team who doesn't vote for them and a large bonus if no fox teams are considered the most suspicious, so it's to their benefit to work together.

The rest of you will get points for guessing right and a large bonus if you get all four teams right.

On the other hand...

There might be some bonuses for other things as well—but it's more fun if you don't know everything, right?

It is a game, so it should be fun.

ETA: Absent teams MAY be foxes, or may not be.))

How has the mystery-solving gone for you so far?
wouldntkilladragon: (So there was this noodle...)

[personal profile] wouldntkilladragon 2012-10-21 01:06 am (UTC)(link)
Eh, not as well as I would like. How about you?
forthreehestrays: (popping in)

The same, I'm afraid, though I've been keeping my ears open.

[Staaares for a moment.]

[...want to pet. '-']

Ah, well. It does seem to be pretty hard.
forthreehestrays: (what are you asking me for?)

[personal profile] forthreehestrays 2012-10-21 01:16 am (UTC)(link)
['-' '-' '-']

Haha, yes, it's definitely been hard.
wouldntkilladragon: (Deep breath and siiiigh)

[personal profile] wouldntkilladragon 2012-10-21 01:21 am (UTC)(link)
[Damn you ears.]

And it's not a lot to work with.
forthreehestrays: (let me explain)

[personal profile] forthreehestrays 2012-10-21 01:23 am (UTC)(link)
Oh yes, even knowing just one square still leaves plenty of solutions open.
wouldntkilladragon: (Well let me think....)

[personal profile] wouldntkilladragon 2012-10-21 01:29 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah. Two would help a lot though.
forthreehestrays: (what are you asking me for?)

[personal profile] forthreehestrays 2012-10-21 01:33 am (UTC)(link)
Oh my, another one who's good at puzzles.
wouldntkilladragon: (....huh)

[personal profile] wouldntkilladragon 2012-10-21 01:39 am (UTC)(link)
...it's just...basic rows and columns.
forthreehestrays: (let me explain)

[personal profile] forthreehestrays 2012-10-21 01:40 am (UTC)(link)
But having to figure out which solution is the right one makes it a little harder, don't you think?
wouldntkilladragon: (Read up)

[personal profile] wouldntkilladragon 2012-10-21 01:41 am (UTC)(link)
That's true. And we haven't gotten too far...how about you?
forthreehestrays: (a useful smile)

[personal profile] forthreehestrays 2012-10-21 01:47 am (UTC)(link)
Same, I'm afraid. All we have is our own square and of course that's not much.
wouldntkilladragon: (Welp!)

[personal profile] wouldntkilladragon 2012-10-21 01:50 am (UTC)(link)
It is kind of limiting.
forthreehestrays: (popping in)

[personal profile] forthreehestrays 2012-10-21 01:51 am (UTC)(link)
That's a good thing, isn't it? After all, there's only one correct solution.
wouldntkilladragon: (....huh)

[personal profile] wouldntkilladragon 2012-10-21 01:58 am (UTC)(link)
This is true.
