Through the doors, you find yourselves in a small circular room that seems to be decorated much in the same way as the ring is decorated today. The curtains are in alternating colors of your teams, and in the center stand are three surprisingly lifelike, but faceless sculptures. They stand with their backs to one another, facing out to the chairs. About each of their necks is a cord that holds a sign written in a fine, looping cursive.

But yes, in this sense. It's almost as if we're creating a vague punishment for a vague crime.

Perhaps we could think of punishments that would be vague enough to sort of... loophole out of any serious punishments.

But here's an example. Let's say the punishment for theft is a pound of flesh. But nothing ever specifics that it has to be your flesh. Instead you could give up some steak or something. ...If you had steak. Which no one does. Sorry bad example.

Barring that. Just rather benign punishments. Thankfully, none of our crimes sound too terrible.

She suggested we say we'll take something from them, and then steal a kiss or something like that.
