Through the doors, you find yourselves in a small circular room that seems to be decorated much in the same way as the ring is decorated today. The curtains are in alternating colors of your teams, and in the center stand are three surprisingly lifelike, but faceless sculptures. They stand with their backs to one another, facing out to the chairs. About each of their necks is a cord that holds a sign written in a fine, looping cursive.

Not necessarily, but it would affect what punishment they deserve.

And she did property damage and crimes against peace. Does that mean she didn't actually hurt anyone? Physically.

An entire world lost to a deep darkness does have its own harm.

...a deep darkness? What does that mean?

It is quite what it is, child.

But...how does a world get lost in darkness?

Even you don't sound like you think the first one is even a crime.

I don't get why she has it up there either. That's just parenting. [Says the old world, violent culture boy.]

If we have to give them something, then perhaps a warning to be gentler in the future.

A warning sounds good. Put more effort into communication, maybe?

Then it's settled. Two more to go.

The second one was an attempt at murder...the likely motive is the person's homeland was destroyed and the rage made him do it.

The fact he didn't kill anyone though, and after something like that, it should be forgiving.

....that could work. Then it's a reminder. Everyday, they see their hair short and then they remember why, and by the time it's normal, they shouldn't forget again?

It's a symbol of loss, as well.
