Ruby + Sapphire

Through the doors, you find yourselves in a small circular room that seems to be decorated much in the same way as the ring is decorated today. The curtains are in alternating colors of your teams, and in the center stand are three surprisingly lifelike, but faceless sculptures. They stand with their backs to one another, facing out to the chairs. About each of their necks is a cord that holds a sign written in a fine, looping cursive.

We've already done this kind of thing, I don't want to again.

We had a pretty good system worked out last time, I thought.

Yeah. But it seems really silly to have another game like this. I didn't like the last one either.

Neither did I, but if it were up to me, we'd be playing a very different game.

We could play poker instead.

What would we be betting on?

Whatever we have with us?

Hmmm -- how about chore tokens?

But then Shade and Tavros can't play.

Nah, it could be stuff that doesn't need to happen in the cabin. "Chop more firewood" or an IOU for help on a quest.

If they're okay with that, I think it sounds like fun.

[pulling out his deck of cards]

I'll teach 'em if they're interested and don't know how.

I'll ask Tavros if he wants to.

We already did it once so we can simply do what we did before.

No executions, have them return to the community some way and allow them the chance of reform.
