Your room is a bit cramped, but brightly and colorfully lit, with a TV screen showing some music videos and speakers in every corner. There's a karaoke machine with a couple microphones hooked up to it. The karaoke machine has a small keyboard and a search function available.

Underneath the table is a chest of clothes and accessories.

Music's a special thing, innit? It strikes us in the cores of our souls. A simple harmony and some melodic-sounding words can reduce a person to tears, or fill their heart with joy. We've all felt it. Music's like a drug to some folks, something they just can't live without or they start to fade away inside. It comes in all forms, all shapes and sizes. Music has meaning and depth, when, at the end of the day, it's really just a bunch of sound all jumbled together. Isn't that funny? But what's really interesting to me is the message music sends: which is what I want you to do today. I'm giving you three songs I want you to make connections with, however you like--it can be a grand tale of romance and tragedy, or a comedy of errors. Just make sure you incorporate all three into your performance, or else you'll only have 2/3 of a story... and we all know the ending's the best part. And remember, enthusiasm is key.

((It's song interpretation time! Interpret the songs assigned to you and write whatever kind of story you want about them, no matter how absurd. Length and order of each song is up to you, BUT when you turn your story in, indicate how your team is going to perform it--who's singing, who's dancing, what kind of weird dance you've come up with, what each character is wearing, etc. Your characters can ICly look up the music videos for each song on the karaoke machine, as well as have different singers/dancers for each song.

Well, there's a song that's "I like someone," and one that's about... either breaking up or getting there... And a song that's about-- getting stronger, I think. So that sort of makes a story by itself...

Is that what they're about?

I think so...? It's a little hard to tell with some of them, but...

These are catchy!

[Mikage begins to sing Stacey's Mom through the first chorus! On stage, Ruka, Viola, and Shes begin to act out the song, with wimpy boy Ruka pining after hot mom Shes while "Stacey" Viola dances obliviously, unaware of Ruka's feelings!! After the first chorus, Mikage starts up I Want It That Way through the second chorus, as Ruka pantomines confessing his feelings to Shes on-stage... Only to be REJECTED, with Shes pointing out his wimpy manner and physique in comparison to Shes's own awesome bod. RUKA WOULD GET BROKEN; HE WOULDN'T STAND A CHANCE. Ruka is HEARTBROKEN!!! until Mikage segues into Stronger, with Viola coming back into the picture for a TRAINING MONTAGE. She's going to whip Ruka into shape and train him so that he has a chance with her mom!! In the end, Ruka ditches his glasses and dons a coat-- who knows if Shes will accept him now, but either way he's become stronger!!!!]
