JASPER

You can see the other teams, but there is an invisible barrier preventing you from hearing them. You can assume that they can't hear you, either. There is a hefty serving of sweet wine and liquor, should you choose it. With a loaf of bread that you can slice. Nimue is in the center of the formation of teams, and when she speaks, you can hear her loud and clear.

"Storytelling has been a tradition of the knights of Camelot for some time. They would tell of the awesome feats of their king, and of their fellow knights... and... they were also prone to exaggeration in some cases."

There appears a small set of cards next to the liquor. You can read them, or you can implicitly understand them if you can't read.

"What feats have the heroes of Aather accomplished, I wonder? And what... exaggerations they may take? Before you, you will find prompts for your tales. You will write one for yourselves, for a set of knights, and for another team. I will select the most inspiring, as will your peers."

She tilts her head. "Ah, perhaps it is bad to encourage grandstanding..."

But before you can ask her, she vanishes.

That would be in character . . . it might not appeal to the Persona in question overmuch, however.

And what would? I can't imagine any of Jasper as a maiden trapped in a tower. Not to mention rescuing one.

Let's say our brave protagonist journeys to a tall tower to investigate a series of murders. While there, she finds herself trapped in the tower with the murderer, and has to work together with the other inhabitants to apprehend him or her. She comes away having learned a valuable lesson about the importance of love and friendship.

Now isn't that an inspiring story?

I think it's quite heartwarming myself, but of course everyone has their own opinions.

Who should our other inhabitants be--members of Jasper? And who's going to play murderer?

[once he stops laughing, preening himself back into place. losing feathers on the floor whups]

We also need hair that will not stop growing. I believe Jasper would be best, yes. As for the murderer . . . if there is only a sole member of another team present, that's too obvious. It will have to be one of us.

I don't mind being the murderer, if no one else wants to. We should take care to give the other members in the story a significant role, for thematic purposes . . . as for the hair, perhaps that's Erika's problem? It weights her down so she can't leave the tower, and is vulnerable to the murderer.

If you are the murderer, what is your weapon? This sounds like it could become a clue to solving the mystery. A knife could be used to cut hair as well as murder a victim.

Perhaps the knife I use to cut my hair is missing, and that's how everyone figures out I'm about to off Erika . . . .

Yes, perhaps someone saw you using it earlier to cut your own hair, and offers to cut hers, and goes to find the knife. But the knife is not where you last left it.
