JASPER

You can see the other teams, but there is an invisible barrier preventing you from hearing them. You can assume that they can't hear you, either. There is a hefty serving of sweet wine and liquor, should you choose it. With a loaf of bread that you can slice. Nimue is in the center of the formation of teams, and when she speaks, you can hear her loud and clear.

"Storytelling has been a tradition of the knights of Camelot for some time. They would tell of the awesome feats of their king, and of their fellow knights... and... they were also prone to exaggeration in some cases."

There appears a small set of cards next to the liquor. You can read them, or you can implicitly understand them if you can't read.

"What feats have the heroes of Aather accomplished, I wonder? And what... exaggerations they may take? Before you, you will find prompts for your tales. You will write one for yourselves, for a set of knights, and for another team. I will select the most inspiring, as will your peers."

She tilts her head. "Ah, perhaps it is bad to encourage grandstanding..."

But before you can ask her, she vanishes.

Once upon a time, there was a cheerful and outgoing team who all wore bright pink. They were favored by a certain Persona named Dream, who was quite clueless about boundaries, so one day he decided it would be a good idea to kidnap them and take them to his realm. To prevent them from inhaling dream dust and becoming delirious, he taped up their mouths with duct tape.

Dream was, after all, not very bright.

The pink team found themselves trapped in Dream's strange mansion with its mazelike passageways that folded in on one another. To make matters worse, the duct tape rendered them unable to speak, and was rather uncomfortable besides.

Pointing out which way to go was easy, so navigating the maze wasn't so hard when they just had to point which way looked right. However, they ran into problems when they encountered a guard at one of the doors! Their mouths were duct-taped shut so they couldn't talk, nor could they eat the guard to get him out of the way.

All they could do was point, so they developed a whole new language based on pointing and attempted to speak to the guard that way. The guard thought it was so fascinating that he also decided to learn the language and talked in point language with them. Through their new language they were able to strike a deal with the guard. If they could be allowed to return home to their team, then they would bake the best pie ever for the guard. Since Dream was a terrible cook and there were no good pies in his realm, the guard accepted.

Now that the guard was on their side, they were able to get through the rest of the maze and return back home to Aather, where they could finally take off the duct tape again.
